Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms", "Terms of Service") carefully before using the PYPHub web application (the "Service") operated by the NTU Student's Computing and Data Science Club ("us", "we", or "our").
Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned upon your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who wish to access or use the Service. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you do not have permission to access the Service.
Description of Service
PYPHub is a platform designed for Nanyang Technological University (NTU) students to access, share, and discuss Past Year Papers (PYPs) and related academic materials to foster collaborative learning and preparation.
User Accounts
When you create an account with us, you guarantee that you are an eligible NTU student and that the information you provide is accurate, complete, and current at all times. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
User Conduct and Responsibilities
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Post or transmit any content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, libelous, invasive of another's privacy, hateful, or racially, ethnically, or otherwise objectionable.
 - Harm minors in any way.
 - Impersonate any person or entity or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.
 - Upload, post, email, transmit, or otherwise make available any content that you do not have a right to make available under any law or under contractual or fiduciary relationships.
 - Upload, post, email, transmit, or otherwise make available any content that infringes any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, or other proprietary rights of any party. Ensure that any shared materials comply with copyright laws and NTU's academic integrity policies. Sharing copyrighted materials without permission is strictly prohibited.
 - Engage in any activity that violates NTU's Academic Integrity Policy, including facilitating cheating or plagiarism.
 - Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers or networks connected to the Service.
 - Violate any applicable local, state, national or international law, and any regulations having the force of law, including NTU's Appropriate Use of Information Resources Policy and IT Usage Policy.
 
We reserve the right to remove content and terminate accounts for conduct that violates these Terms or NTU policies.
Content
Our Service allows you to post, link, store, share, and otherwise make available certain information, text, graphics, or other material ("Content"). You are responsible for the Content that you post on or through the Service, including its legality, reliability, and appropriateness.
By posting Content on or through the Service, you represent and warrant that: (i) the Content is yours (you own it) and/or you have the right to use it and the right to grant us the rights and license as provided in these Terms, and (ii) the posting of your Content on or through the Service does not violate the privacy rights, publicity rights, copyrights, contract rights or any other rights of any person or entity.
We reserve the right to block or remove Content or accounts that we determine to be: (a) abusive, defamatory, or obscene; (b) fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading; (c) in violation of a copyright, trademark or, other intellectual property right of another or; (d) offensive or otherwise unacceptable to us in our sole discretion.
You retain any and all of your rights to any Content you submit, post or display on or through the Service and you are responsible for protecting those rights. We take no responsibility and assume no liability for Content you or any third-party posts on or through the Service.
Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content (excluding Content provided by users), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of the NTU Student's Computing and Data Science Club and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of Singapore and foreign countries. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without the prior written consent of the SCDS Club.
Disclaimer
Your use of the Service is at your sole risk. The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or course of performance.
The SCDS Club, its subsidiaries, affiliates, and its licensors do not warrant that a) the Service will function uninterrupted, secure or available at any particular time or location; b) any errors or defects will be corrected; c) the Service is free of viruses or other harmful components; or d) the results of using the Service, including the accuracy or reliability of any information or materials obtained through the Service, will meet your requirements.
We do not endorse and are not responsible for the accuracy or reliability of any Content posted by users. Any reliance you place on such information is strictly at your own risk.
Limitation Of Liability
In no event shall the SCDS Club, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the Service; (iii) any content obtained from the Service; and (iv) unauthorized access, use or alteration of your transmissions or content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence) or any other legal theory, whether or not we have been informed of the possibility of such damage, and even if a remedy set forth herein is found to have failed of its essential purpose.
Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, under our sole discretion, for any reason whatsoever and without limitation, including but not limited to a breach of the Terms or violation of NTU policies.
All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity and limitations of liability.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Changes
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
By continuing to access or use our Service after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, you are no longer authorized to use the Service.
